Hey there!
My name is Leah and I created Autie and Lace. The word “autie” derives from the word “autistic,” which is a nickname some autistic people refer to themselves. After being diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder at the age of 25, I sought to explore what that meant to me. I started out by blogging as a way to process my thoughts and emotions and I found that I enjoy expressing myself through embroidery and craft. It’s been a joy to share my love of art with others while also spreading the message of autism acceptance.
